Tom Wood Subaru Shares the Holiday Season Love with Annual Events

The spirit of giving is in full swing at Tom Wood Subaru now through January 2, 2019, with the Tom Wood Automotive group toy drive and annual Subaru Share the Love events.

The toy drive, benefitting the Avondale Meadows YMCA, will run through December 12. The goal of this year’s edition is to give two to three toys to each child—infant to 15 years old—and exceed last year’s number of toys collected to help more children in the Indianapolis community. Customers that visit any Tom Wood location for service or to purchase a vehicle are invited to bring a toy to help a child in need.

Also, Tom Wood Subaru is participating in the national Subaru Share the Love event, from now through January 2. For every new vehicle purchased or leased, Subaru will donate $250 to the customer’s choice of one of four national charities, including The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Meal on Wheels America and the National Park Foundation. Customers will also have the option to direct their donation to this year’s local charity, Miracle Place, a social services organization located in the near eastside of Indianapolis.

For the third consecutive year, there’ll be no cap placed on the total donation from Subaru of America to its Share the Love charitable partners. At the culmination of this year’s efforts, Subaru hopes to exceed a total of $140 million donated since the event started in 2007.

Location: 3300 E. 96th St., Indianapolis. For more information on all activities and Tom Wood Subaru’s charities of choice, visit and
